We roast fresh coffee Monday through Thursday. Please order before 8 am EST to get your coffee shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 8 am EST will be fulfilled the following roast day. We are closed for major holidays and the occasional snowstorm. We are located in Vermont and USPS does not guarantee their 1-3 day delivery times but most packages will arrive in that time frame depending on the destination.

Formerly called "Vienna Roast" - we have rename this coffee "Medium Roast."Though great as a drip coffee, Blend 56 was developed especially for use as espresso or a base in espresso blends. La Minita combines natural and semi-washed coffees from select fazendas in the Cerrado region to make up the desired profile. The end result is a blend that is balanced and sweet, with fresh noticeable acidity, flavor nuances of clean berries and fruits, and a thick creamy body. Blend 56 shines in espresso preparation; it exhibits a flavor balance between punchy fruit and chewy nut, produces great crema, and has super long, lingering sweetness.

Green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. Unlike decaffeination processes that use chemicals, the beans are then introduced to a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor.

We are dreaming of a tropical holiday with this single origin Sumatra grown by the Arisarina Cooperative Farmers of the Gayo region. A blend of Medium Roast and Light Roast Sumatra coffee, we taste malted chocolate, holiday spices, pomegranate and molasses in the cup. Rich and warming, Sumatra Holiday is great black or with a little milk and honey.
Sumatra Holiday has us dreaming of cozy nights by the fire, watching the first snowfall, snug as a bug. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
